10/15/2006: AIA150 grant awarded from National AIA.
12/18/2006: AIA Kansas150 Kickoff. Kansas Design Assistance team
targeting community development in rural communities.
4/9/2007-4/14/2007: National AIA Week. Across the country architects
celebrated the 150th anniversary of the AIA.
5/24/2007:
BYOBI (Bring Your Own Big Idea)
We had a great time at the Breakroom in Downtown Topeka for Happy Hour and
brainstorming session. 5:30-7:30
Summer/Fall 2007:
Competition
Details were announced at the
BYOBI.
Students of all ages are asked to participate in our
Topeka Riverfront Design Competition. We're also holding a
Photo Competition. for people of all ages.
October 5th, 2007 at 5:00 pm:
Submissions for the
Topeka Riverfront Design Competition are due.
November 2007-January 2008: Winning
Design and Photo Competition submissions are displayed in the
rotunda at the Topeka Public Library.
Fall 2007:
Community Design Charette: Riverfront Site
Analysis. Join in. Location and
time to be announced.
11/2/2007:
AIA Kansas Conference Opening. The
public is invited to join us for an evening of discussion. Panel
Discussion of Competition Projects.
2007-2008:
Design and Photo Competition submissions are displayed in art
galleries across Topeka.
